Welcome to a special guest feature from the passionate, pro-active producer Burred Noises. This guy is the definition of hustle. I thought I went pretty hard but this guy seems to be putting out a new track a week.
Burred Noises’ music is hard for me to define. I guess I would call it alternative, minimalistic, industrial, experimental break-beat rhythms if I had to label it.
That’s where the beauty lies though. A man who’s not afraid to experiment with different sounds and samples. A man who gives no fucks. I met him through Uni and he showed me this beat one day that turned into Listen to Learn.
An absolute legend, I give you Burred Noises.
Big ups for taking the time bro. So, how long have you been playing music?
I’ve been playing music for 14 years, starting playing trumpet when I was eight for six years. At the age of 12 I started playing tuba and continued for four years. At the age of 15 I started playing Bass guitar and haven’t stopped.
Dope. And how long have you been creating music?
I’ve been making music for six years now; Three years with a band called Caravano playing Bass and three years of solo production.
Burred Noises, Blurred Choices
What inspires you bro?
I can find inspiration in the strangest of places. Sometimes it’s as simple as the sound of dropping a hot chocolate tin other times it’s as complex as trying to understand the deeper workings of the human mind. I love the possibilities that exist within music.
Were your parents into music?
My parents both played music when they were young adults and my mum tried to teach me piano at the age of six with little success.
What are you listening to at the moment?
I listen to a very diverse range of music from all over the world and am constantly looking for new and different styles. Some artists to check out; Psykovsky, Max Cooper, Vorso, SOPHIE, Talpa, The Presets, Dominik Eulberg, Fourward, Amon Tobin, IMANU.
Did you always wanna collab with a rapper?
I’d never planned on it, just like to keep myself open to new experiences.
What does music give you?
Music gives me anything and everything! It is raw pure beauty! I plan to continue writing as long as I can, continuing to diversify the music I make and the people I collaborate with.
Shoutout to the homie Burred Noises for taking the time to share with us. I love those lines about what music gives him. Powerful shit.
You can catch Burred Noises in all the usual spots. He is constantly releasing new music and he is someone who’s not afraid to experiment and try new thing with his music.
As always, thanks for rocking with ya boi Prim!
